President Biden Broadcasts Intent to Appoint Cisco COO Maria Martinez to Nationwide Safety Telecommunications Advisory Committee


President Biden at present introduced his intent to nominate Cisco Chief Working Officer Maria Martinez to the Nationwide Safety Telecommunications Advisory Committee (NSTAC), which gives industry-based analyses and suggestions to the Government Workplace of the President (EOP) on how the federal government can enact coverage for, or take actions to boost, nationwide safety and emergency preparedness (NS/EP) telecommunications.  

Cisco COO Maria Martinez mentioned: “Because the worldwide chief in know-how that powers the web, Cisco is redesigning and securing the core networks that maintain us linked and that energy vital infrastructure important to financial and social well-being. Strengthening the safety, resiliency, and reliability of America’s communications infrastructure would require elevated public-private collaboration, and I look ahead to becoming a member of my fellow NSTAC members in advising the president on Twenty first-century options to allow a safe and digital future.”  

NSTAC consists of as much as 30 presidentially appointed senior executives who signify numerous components of the telecommunications {industry}. The committee advises the president on a variety of points associated to telecommunications, data techniques, data assurance, infrastructure safety, and different NS/EP issues.
