ios – How would you go about making a RealityKit anchor for a statue in a church?

When creating an AR app (in my case, for iOS with RealityKit), what could be an excellent technique for creating an anchor on a big statue that stands on an altar in a church (to be able to place some explanatory textual content and hyperlinks on it)?

  • The statue is, in fact, three-dimensional (i.e. an Picture Anchor wouldn’t be applicable)
  • The statue shouldn’t be in entrance of a plain floor (it’s on a richly embellished baroque altar), which doesn’t appear to be the advisable use case for Object Seize
  • The statue shouldn’t be accessible from each angle (it’s positioned excessive up, so with a regular tripod, you’ll be able to solely {photograph} it from under, and you can’t go behind it. App customers may have the identical view constraints although, so it’s not actually essential to detect these elements of the item which you could by no means see).
