A modder with far an excessive amount of time on their fingers has cracked Apple’s defunct Pippin gaming console to run traditional shooter Doom, becoming a member of the more and more unhinged ranks of units which have been tailored to play the shooter.
Selena the Retro-Princess took to X this week to disclose the stunt. “Final evening I managed to get an Apple Pippin to run Doom!”, Selena exclaimed, including “Few issues are extra satisfying than getting Doom to run on a machine that it wasn’t made for! I am unable to consider I managed to tug this off! I am so excited!”
