Within the documentation for the iOS 18 Contact Supplier Extension (https://developer.apple.com/documentation/contactprovider) it says:
Use the Contact Supplier framework in case your app manages its personal
contacts and desires to make them out there in different apps that use the
Contacts framework.
However how does an app handle its personal contacts? What must be performed in a different way if it manages its personal contacts versus managing a person’s contacts?
Does the person nonetheless must grant contacts entry for instance?
Is there a particular group that must be used (how?) so as to add app contacts?
There is no point out of any of this that I can see within the documentation for CNContact or CNContactStore.
