The tserkva is a basic instance of Lemko church structure, although it underwent a number of redecorations within the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. The builing is at the moment used as a Roman Catholic church beneath the authority of the parish of Our Girl of Perpetual Assist in Uście Gorlickie. In 2013, the church was included within the UNESCO World Heritage Websites record.
