I lately found that I’ve two separate photograph libraries on my Mac beneath completely different consumer profiles: “jack” and “jack1”.
The photograph library within the “jack” profile is called “Pictures Library.photoslibrary” (74GB), and the one within the “jack1” profile is called “Pictures Library” (44GB). It looks like each libraries have some distinctive pictures, the place “Pictures Library” date cut-off appears 2019. I am unsure how they ended up with completely different names and beneath completely different consumer profiles.
Jack profile solely has the image folder with knowledge, as above. Jack1 has all the opposite folders and knowledge for my laptop computer.
I wish to merge these two libraries into one to save lots of house and have all my pictures in a single place. Has anybody confronted an identical subject, and might you please suggest one of the simplest ways to merge these libraries with out dropping any pictures or creating duplicates?
